Ram Varma

I qualified with ACCA in 2008 and achieved my practising certificate in 2011. Over the course of my career, I have worked with a wide range of businesses and individuals, helping them manage their accounting and tax affairs while providing practical advice that supports their long-term goals.

I joined David Howard in 2022 and became a Partner in 2024. Since joining the firm, I have focused on building strong client relationships across a broad range of sectors, working closely with both new and existing clients to provide proactive, reliable support.

A significant part of my role involves helping business owners understand their finances, identify opportunities and make informed decisions with confidence. I particularly enjoy meeting new clients, learning about their ambitions and building long-term professional relationships based on trust, communication and reliable advice.

My approach is centred on proactive communication and being accessible when clients need support. I believe strong relationships are built over time, and that understanding a client's business properly leads to better advice and stronger outcomes.

Alongside working with businesses, I have experience supporting high-net-worth individuals with tax planning and personal financial matters. This breadth of experience allows me to provide practical advice that reflects both business and personal objectives.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling and discovering new places whenever I can. I am also a keen home cook and enjoy spending time with family and friends. At weekends, you'll often find me following West Ham United or continuing my training in Wing Chun martial arts.
