About
I qualified as an ACCA accountant in 2014 and joined David Howard shortly afterwards. Since becoming a Partner in 2018, I have played an active role in growing the firm, including the development of our Cranleigh, Horsham and Dorking offices.
Much of my focus is on supporting business owners, helping them navigate financial and commercial challenges with practical advice and a long-term perspective. I work closely with new and existing clients across a range of sectors, and much of my work comes through recommendations, which I think says something about the value of being responsive, communicating clearly and giving advice people can rely on.
Developing people has always been an important part of my role. I have built and led a talented team of accountants and advisers, and I take great satisfaction in seeing team members progress in their careers and build strong relationships with clients.
Driving the continued growth of the firm remains a key priority. Central to this has been involvement in several practice acquisitions, helping ensure a smooth transition for clients while integrating new teams into the wider business.
I work with businesses across a range of sectors and have built many long-standing client relationships over the years. Much of my work comes through recommendations, which I believe reflects the importance of providing responsive service, clear communication and advice clients can trust.
Alongside my client work, I have delivered presentations and webinars for self-employed professionals and freelancers, covering topics such as Making Tax Digital, business finances and tax responsibilities. These sessions have provided practical guidance to people at different stages of their business journey and reflect my commitment to making financial matters easier to understand.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children and making the most of the Surrey Hills with our dogs. I am a keen golfer and play throughout the year whenever time allows. I also enjoy travelling with my family and have recently explored Thailand and Cambodia, experiences that have provided many lasting memories and a growing appreciation for adventure.
