I joined David Howard as a graduate trainee in 1998 and became a Partner in 2003. Having built my entire career within the firm, I have seen first-hand how businesses evolve and the challenges owners face at different stages of growth.
 
Audit has been a core part of my career for more than 26 years. I work with businesses across a wide range of sectors, helping them meet their statutory requirements while gaining valuable insight into their financial performance, systems and controls. 
 
That experience has allowed me to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs to larger corporate organisations. Working closely with businesses through the audit process has provided valuable insight into the different opportunities and challenges organisations face as they grow. 
 
Experience has taught me that a good audit should do more than satisfy compliance obligations. It should provide clarity, highlight opportunities for improvement and support better business decisions.
 
Alongside audit, I advise businesses and individuals on accounting and tax matters. Working across these disciplines gives me a broad perspective on the issues clients face and allows me to provide advice that reflects both the financial and commercial realities of running a business.
 
As a Partner, I have also played an active role in the growth of the firm, supporting our people, strengthening client relationships and helping maintain the high standards that have always been central to how David Howard operates.
 
Outside work, I enjoy exploring new places with family and friends and find that time away from the desk, whether on the road or further afield, gives me a fresh perspective I bring back to my work.
